A Mother's Statement to Parliament

Colby dolman was my son, but he was much more than that, he was my best friend my confidant, the person I could always count on. He was driven thoughtful and had a\ heart full of hope for the world. He didn't just dream of change; he acted on it. When he chose to fight in Ukraine. He was stepping into what he thought was a calling. He believed he could help, that his actions could matter. But the system he trusted revanche tactical group betrayed that trust at every turn. Colby was not just a recruit; he was a son. A friend, and a dreamer, who believed in a better world. Colby signed up for revanche tactical group believing he’d be part of something built on professionalism and purpose, a team that protected its people. He trusted them, but every step of the way they failed him. They sent him to Mali shcherbaky without the training he needed, knowing the risks. His training didn't match what national guard personnel receive for missions like this. Warnings were ignored by his command, not just from Colby but also from others in his unit. They knew he wasn't prepared for what the mission would demand, and they sent him anyway. When the mission unravelled, revanche tactical group showed their true colours. They had an opportunity, a critical moment to save Colby. But instead of stepping up they stepped back. They abandoned Colby on the battlefield when he needed them the most. It wasn't just a failure in judgement it was a failure of their humanity. That act of neglect cost Colby his life.  Colbys situation wasn't hopeless. He could have survived if the team nearby had moved in to help. But revanche tactical group failed him again in that defining moment. They had the resources the ability to act yet they chose too standby. Commanders ignored the chance to intervene turning their backs when Colbys life was hanging by a thread. That decision wasn't just negligent it was fatal. Colby trusted his leaders to have his back but when it mattered most, they abandoned him. If they had acted if they had prioritised saving their own. Colby could still be here today. That failure leaving him to die alone on that battlefield is something i will never forgive. During the mission drone operators had eyes on everything they were monitoring the battlefield in real time. Watching every move unfold including Colby's injury. They could see his condition that he wasn't fully gone, that there was still time to intervene. But nothing happened. They didn't send help, didn't issue new orders to save him. Those operators along with the commanders chose inaction. Thats what makes revanche tactical groups failures so staggering. The technology was there the information was there the opportunities were there but there didn't act. They watched as Colbys life slipped away refusing to do what was needed. This wasn't just negligence it was calculated indifference. From there it didn't stop. The negligence didn't end with Colbys death it continued in the aftermath, revanche tactical group didn't just fail Colby on the field they failed him in how they handed his death. They broke every protocol they were supposed to follow. Colbys body hasn't been recovered, and I wasn't properly notified. Instead, I had to piece together the truth myself, from leaked drone footage and messages from Colbys comrades. Even now the stories I've been told are inconsistent, rippled with gaps and contradictions. It feels likes revanche tactical group is hiding something, trying to dodge accountability. Their actions after the mission only deepen the betrayal. To this day I'm still waiting for answers, still waiting for them to take responsibility for their failures, both during the mission and after. And yet silence. That silence is its own kind of cruelty. Revanche tactical groups silence doesn't just feel cruel, it feels deliberate. When Colbys comrades and i started asking questions, raising concerns, we were met with deflection and dismissiveness. Instead of transparency, they gave us cover ups. Instead of accountability they tried to shift the blame or sweep it under the rug. They showed no respect for Colbys memory, no acknowledgment of the pain their failures caused, not just to him but to every family grieving alongside me. It's not just about the mission gone wrong; it's about a pattern of disregard for people who trust them. Revanche tactical group treated Colby like a disposable asset, not a human being with a family, dreams, and a life ahead of him. Their failures are systemic, and their lack of compassion is devastating.

This isn't just about my son it's about all the recruits who've been failed by revanche tactical group. Colbys story isn't isolated. Other families are feeling the same pain i am, asking the same questions, demanding the same answers. Revanche tactical groups negligence has created a ripple effect, leaving countless lives shattered in its wake. Recruits have been sent into missions with insufficient training, ignored when they raised concerns, and abandoned when they needed help. Families across the board have faced disrespect, deceit and stonewalling in the aftermath. These systemic failures demonstrate a pattern, one of reckless decision making, a blatant disregard for human life, and a refusal to protect the very people they claim to serve. This isn't just a failure of leadership it's a complete breakdown of their moral obligation to their recruits and their families. Revanche tactical group cannot be allowed to operate unchecked any longer. Parliament must take immediate action to investigate their failures, and the systemic issues that led to tragedies like Colbys. This is not just about justice for one person or one family, it's about ensuring no other recruit or family must endure this level of betrayal. It's about setting a precedent that organisations like revanche, who profit off recruits while failing to protect them, will be held accountable. The uks funding, partnerships, and implicit support for companies like revanche send dangerous message. Turning a blind eye allows these failures to continue, both at home and internationally. Parliament has a responsibility to hold these organisations to account, to demand transparency, to severities with revanche tactical group until they prove they are worthy of trust placed in them. This isn't just a domestic issue, it's an international priority. Colbys story is one of far too many, and change must start now. Parliament must recognise that every delay in addressing these failures costs lives. Families like mine are left with heartbreak and unanswered questions, unable to grieve properly because the truth is buried under layers of negligence and silence. Revanche tactical groups model thrives on exploitation, of recruits, of families and of the trust placed in them by governments like ours. This is not just a failure of one organisation, it's a failure of oversight, accountability and integrity. It's time to draw a line. Severities with revanche tactical group. Demand a full investigation into their practices, their failures, and the cost of their negligence, and commit, as a nation to protecting the lives of those who serve under our name. Colbys mission wasn't just poorly executed; it was doomed from the start. Warnings from the recruits went ignored, and proper protocols were thrown aside. The lack of adequate training left Colby vulnerable, and when the mission went south, he was abandoned. Even worse essential support systems, like drone operators, failed to intervene at critical moments. This negligence cost Colby his life, and every step afterward, from the mishandling of notifications to the conflicting information I've received, has deepened the hurt and outrage for families like mine. Revanche tactical has shown their true colours time and time again, prioritising efficiency and profit over human lives. Their failures have consequences far beyond one mission, impacting the safety reputation, and humanity of all involved. The uk must choose where it stands. Will you align with companies that value their recruits as disposable assets, or will you demand change, real, urgent, and lasting reform?  families are watching. The world is watching. And the time to act is now.

Families like mine will no longer stay silent. We refuse to let the stories of recruits like Colby be erased or reduced to mere statistics. His life mattered, and the lives of every soldier impacted by revanche tactical negligence matter. This statement represents more than just our grief. It's a call for action. A demand for transparency, accountability and reform, we need the uk government to step up, not just to investigate revanche tactical, but to ensure that no family ever must endure what were been through again. This isn't about revenge. It's about justice. It's about protecting recruits, restoring faith in our systems, and making it clear that human lives will never be sacrificed for corporate gain. Change must start here, with parliament taking definitive, uncompromising steps. Severities with revanche tactical group, enact safeguards for future missions, and honour the trust these recruits place in their leaders. Anything less is a failure of leadership, and betrayal of the people who serve under its name.

Colbys story is a reminder of both the incredible bravery of those who serve and the devastating cost of systemic failures. This cannot be another instance where empty words replace action. Parliament has the power to ensure accountability, to push for reform, and to prioritise lives over partnerships with corporations like revanche tactical group. Let this moment mark the beginning of change. Let Colbys story and the stories of so many others, be the catalyst for renewed commitment to transparency, integrity and humanity in our nation's dealings.

I ask you on behalf of the families without answers and the lives forever changed, to act decisively now. Make this right. Stop the harm before it claims even more Lives.

Colbys bravery and love touched so many lives. By supporting this fundraiser, you help honour his legacy, help bring him home and fight for justice.
